Moochhala Gangat & Company (MGC) came into existence on the merging of the independent practices carried under the name and style of Taher Moochhala & Co. and Gangat & Co. with the prime object to institutionalize their independent practices. The practicing firms are amongst the earliest firms of chartered accountants, spanning six decades, established in Pakistan at a time when the profession of auditing was in its infancy in the country.

We are a member of JHI, a growing global network of independent accountancy, business advisory and financial consultancy firms comprising of 130 member firms in 55 countries. JHI members serve in leading positions with worldwide bodies such as the Forum of Firms, an organization of international firms that perform audits of financial statements that are, or may be, used across national borders.

We offer all range of services i.e. Audit & Assurance, Taxation, Business Advisory, Corporate and Management Consultancy, Business Process Outsourcing and Reengineering, Information Technology, Human Resources, Legal and Secretarial and other related assistance to public, private and other organizations including not for profit. We also assist organizations in problem solving and providing practical and feasible solutions.

We are a sound team of dedicated professionals of Accountants, Business Advisors and Management Consultants, having a multifaceted proficient background and experience and can effectively deal with a versatile range of tasks to present practical solutions to the problems in small to large-scale organizations.

We undertake the execution of all our assignments with due dedication, commitment, competence, professionalism, creativity and quality assurance. As professionals, we always endeavor to adhere to the principles of objectivity, integrity, independence and professional standards.

The firm is enlisted in the following panels:

• Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan – based on QCR rating list issued by Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (95 out of around 400 firms are entitled to carry out the statutory audits of companies listed on the stock exchanges in Pakistan.
• State Bank of Pakistan – (33 out of around 400 firms meet the SBP standards which are entitled to carry out statutory and system audits of financial institutions and brokerage houses including non banking finance companies)
